Upstate South Carolina · Family Run

Real eggs. Real worms.
Real garden.

Free-range eggs gathered daily, composting worms raised with care, and heirloom seeds grown right here on our own South Carolina backyard farm.

Gathered daily

Chicken and duck eggs collected fresh from our free-range flock every morning, never more than a day old when they ship.

Raised with care

Our red wigglers and birds are bred and kept the honest way: no shortcuts, no crowding, just good soil and good sense.

Family run, since day one

William and Brenda Ferrand started this farm from a backyard coop. It’s grown, but the way we do things hasn’t changed.

A note from the farm

“We don’t have a marketing department or a warehouse. We have a yard, a garden, some very opinionated hens, and a lot of stubbornness. If a hatch is small or the tomatoes come in late, we’ll just tell you, rather than dress it up. That’s about the whole business plan.”

William & Brenda Ferrand

From the shop this week

High summer means the coop is in full swing and the garden beds are peaking. Whatever’s ready gets gathered, picked, or dug the same day it lands below.

Healthy Soil, Healthy Harvest

Our red wigglers do the real work

Nutrient-rich castings, faster composting, less labor, better harvests. Pair them with our SuperBlend WormFuel and your compost bin will out-perform anything from a store.
