Privacy at the Farm
We are a small, family-run farm, not a big company with a data department. This is the whole truth about what happens to your details, written the way we would explain it standing in the yard.
Ordering, and booking a Qurbani
This is the only time we need much from you. An order takes your name, email address, a phone number if you give one, your billing address, and a delivery or collection address. A Qurbani booking also carries the details you send us about the intention and any names to be mentioned, because that is the point of the booking.
Just visiting
You can read every page, look at the animals and check what is in season without giving us anything at all. The web server keeps an ordinary access log of page requests, times and IP addresses, which is simply how a server works.
Everyone who touches your details
The complete list, named rather than described as partners.

That is the full list. We do not sell or rent your details, there is no advertising network on this site, and there is no Google Analytics or Facebook pixel here.
Cookies
The working kind only: one that remembers your cart, one that keeps you signed in if you have an account, and Jetpack’s, which support the features above. Clear or block them in your browser whenever you like. It will not stop you reading anything here.
Where AI fits in
Some of the writing on this site was drafted with AI assistance and then edited by us before it went up. Where a photograph is AI generated rather than taken here on the farm, it says so on the page it sits on, because a picture of an animal you might be buying should not be a guess.
Nothing you send us goes into an AI service. Not orders, not Qurbani details, not messages. No automated system makes a decision about you.

Asking for it, or asking us to delete it
Write to privacy@ferrandfarms.com and ask for a copy, a correction or a deletion. No reason required, and we answer within thirty days. A completed order may have to stay on file for the tax period above, and if so we will tell you what is kept and why rather than simply saying no.
Children
This site is meant for adults placing orders. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
Nothing renews on its own
Every order here is a one-off. Nothing on this site takes money from you again on a schedule. If we ever offer something that does, you will see the price, the interval and the cancellation route before you pay, you will get a reminder at least seven days before each renewal, and you will be able to cancel yourself without writing to us.
Changes
The date at the top moves when this page does. If someone new starts receiving your details, we will say so here in plain words rather than editing a line quietly.
