Description
One packet, a full mix of bell pepper colors and shapes instead of committing to a single variety. Bell peppers all grow about the same way, so rather than make you buy four separate packets to get a colorful harvest, we mixed the varieties ourselves into one packet built for anyone who wants a little variety in the same row.
Bell peppers are one of the more rewarding warm-season crops for a home garden. A handful of plants will keep a household in fresh peppers for stuffing, roasting, and slicing straight into a salad most of the summer.
Getting started
Bell peppers are frost-tender and slow to get going, so most gardeners start them indoors six to eight weeks before the last frost, then transplant out once nights have warmed. They like full sun, steady watering, and a little patience, peppers take longer to fruit than tomatoes or squash, but they hold well on the plant once they get there.
Good to know: Want more than peppers in the mix? Our full Organic Vegetable Seeds line includes single-variety bell peppers alongside nine other vegetables.
