Description
Proven layers, not started pullets you have to wait months on. These are hens already in production, raised the same free-range way as the rest of our flock, sold when we are thinning numbers or have extra birds ready for a new coop. If you want eggs sooner rather than later, this is the fastest way to get there.
Our flock is a working mix built up over the years rather than a single named breed, so you are getting a hen that has already proven herself outdoors in a real yard, not a bird bred purely for a show ring. She knows how to forage, handle weather, and hold her own in a flock.
Pickup and local delivery only. Grown birds do not travel well by mail, so plan on collecting from the farm or arranging local delivery with us. Give your new hen a few days in a separate space before introducing her to an existing flock. Availability comes and goes with our own flock numbers, message us if you need a specific quantity.
