How to Grow Thyme
Planting
Best from a transplant or division, seed is very slow. Give it a well-drained spot, thyme genuinely prefers poor, rocky soil over rich garden beds.
Watering & feeding
Minimal once established, thyme is one of the most drought-tolerant herbs in the garden.
Harvest
Snip sprigs anytime, and shear the whole plant back lightly after it flowers to keep it dense.
Grows Well With
