How to Grow Sweet Corn
Planting
Direct sow in blocks of at least four short rows rather than one long row, corn is wind-pollinated and needs neighbors close by to fill out the ears.
Watering & feeding
Heavy feeder, water deeply and feed again once stalks are knee-high and again when tassels appear.
Harvest
Check when silks turn brown and dry, peel back a bit of husk and press a kernel, it should squirt milky liquid, not clear.
