Kitchen scraps alone will keep a worm bin alive, but they will not keep it thriving. WormFuel SuperBlend is what we feed our own red wigglers between scrap batches, a dry blend that is easy to store, easy to portion, and built to give a bin the steady, balanced diet that scraps alone cannot.
The blend is built around cornmeal, wheat bran, molasses, and ground eggshell, simple ingredients that between them cover carbohydrates for energy, grit for digestion, and calcium to keep a breeding colony healthy. Worms take to it fast, and a well-fed bin means faster reproduction and richer, darker castings for your garden.
How to use it
Sprinkle a light layer over the surface of your bin, lightly moisten it, and let the worms find it. A little goes a long way. Overfeeding any worm bin, ours included, can sour the bedding, so start light and adjust based on how quickly your colony works through it.
